Just so happens he had a Traaxis Stampede 4X4 gathering dust&#8230; Well it gathers dust no more. (just kicks it up in the air from those tyres!)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve installed a temporary top plate* to mount the electronics to make this beast come alive. It fitted out with<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pixhawk Flight Controller with <a href=\"http:\/\/discuss.ardupilot.org\/t\/rover-3-1-0-beta\/10383\/4\">ArduRover 3.1 Beta<\/a> release<\/li>\n<li>Separate\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/store.jdrones.com\/jDrones_NEO6_PlaneRoverBoat_GPS_Compass_p\/jdneo6magb.htm\">GPS &amp; Magnetometer<\/a><\/li>\n<li>SiK 915Mhz <a href=\"http:\/\/store.jdrones.com\/jD_SiK_Radio_Telemetry_radio_p\/rfsik20set900.htm\">Radio<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dx.com\/p\/esp-07-esp8266-serial-wi-f-wireless-module-w-built-in-antenna-compatible-with-3-3v-5v-for-arduino-400559#.V8O3OmXcY-g\">ESP8266-07 WiFi module<\/a> with ESP8266 FW<\/li>\n<li>FrSky RC D4R-II<\/li>\n<li>Control is via FrSky Taranis 9D<\/li>\n<li>And of course <a href=\"https:\/\/www.communistech.com\/blog\/mav-pilt-3d-maps\/\">MAV Pilot<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I just finished the build tonight, but the weather changed from glorious sun to rain.
